Our 4th Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party was a huge success and a great way to end the 2012 season!  We had such a great turnout - the bar was packed, the bowling lanes were full as hundreds of our friends, family and complete strangers gathered wearing their ugliest and tackiest Christmas sweaters to have a great time and raise money for StandUp2Cancer.  We're proud to say that with the help of over 20 local businesses and all those in attendance, we generated over $800 worth of raffle prizes and over $500 in cash donations!  We've heard a lot of noise lately around department stores making such a big deal out of the holiday shopping season, and some recent news has come out asking people "When is it too early?"  Nordstrom even gained attention for NOT decking their halls pre-Thanksgiving stating that they "like the idea of celebrating one holiday at a time" - you have to appreciate that.  We'll keep an eye on them to see if they stick to their word or give in to the competition.
