This year's Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, which we held at Joe's Bar, was a major success! We raffled off $100 Visa Gift Card, Patrick Kane Blackhawks jersey, a spa package, iTunes Gift Cards and we even sold a few dozen Ugy Christmas Sweaters; all of the proceeds will be donated to The Shriners (www.shrinershq.org) to help children receive the proper medical attention they deserve. Last season the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party website enjoyed huge growth, as media outlets like CNN, MSNBC and newspaper websites across the county covered this slightly new and very popular holiday tradition.
